This one has been a long time coming.

At Greenwood Homes, we spend a lot of time listening. To the families moving into our communities. To the buyers telling us what they wish their last home had. To the broader conversation happening around what it actually means to live well, not just comfortably, but intentionally.

What we kept hearing was this: people want their homes to support their health. Not in a vague, aspirational way. In a real, daily-ritual way. They wanted spaces that helped them recover, decompress, move their bodies, and feel restored. And they wanted that without driving to a spa or a boutique studio or a gym that's somehow always crowded when they need it most.

So we got to work. And we're genuinely excited to introduce something new: the Greenwood Wellness Studio.

Where This Came From

We didn't set out to fill square footage. We set out to answer a question we kept asking ourselves: what would it look like if a home actively enhanced your health and helped you live better?

Wellness has shifted from trend to lifestyle for a lot of our buyers. Cold therapy, contrast bathing, steam... these aren't fringe practices anymore. They're part of how people manage stress, recover from workouts, sleep better, and take care of themselves for the long haul. The research behind them is real. The demand for them is real. And the idea that these experiences should only exist in hotels or high-end spas? We think that's changing.

The Wellness Studio is our answer to that change.

What It Includes

The Wellness Studio is a fully integrated wellness space, available as an option in our basement-capable single-family homes and villas. Every component was chosen intentionally for quality, for the experience it creates, and for how it works alongside everything else in the space.

Here's what's inside:

Kohler Remedy Tub — a cold water immersion tub that makes cold therapy genuinely beautiful to live with, not just functional.

Kohler Sauna — dry heat, done right. The kind of sauna experience that earns a permanent spot in your morning or evening routine.

Kohler Steam Shower with Anthem System — steam therapy with precise control, in a space that feels like it belongs in your home rather than an afterthought.

Heated Floors — because stepping into a wellness space should feel like a relief from the very first step.

Kichler Uplighting in Crown Molding — warm, layered light that sets the tone without trying too hard. This room is supposed to feel calm.

Barre, Mirrors, and Storage Cubbies — one wall dedicated to movement, stretching, and keeping the space organized and ready to use.

Together, they create something that's genuinely hard to describe until you're standing in it. It feels different. It feels like it was thought through. Because it was.

Why Kohler

We're particular about who we partner with, and Kohler earned this one. Their approach to wellness products (the care in the design, the quality of the materials, the actual experience of using them) aligns with how we think about building homes. We wanted components that would still feel special five years from now, not just on the day you move in. Kohler delivers that.

How It's Meant to Be Used

There's no right way to use the Wellness Studio. That was intentional too.

For some people it'll be a morning sauna before the day starts. For others, an evening cold plunge to reset. A steam after a long week. A barre or yoga session before the kids are up. The space is designed to flex around your life. Your schedule, your preferences, your version of feeling well.

We didn't want to build something people would use twice and forget about. We wanted to build something that becomes part of the rhythm of a household.

A Note on Choice

The Wellness Studio is an option available to buyers in our basement-capable homes and villas who want it. It's not baked into base pricing or presented as the only way to build with us. Some buyers will know immediately that it's for them. Others will want to think it through. Either way, we're here to help you figure out what makes sense for your home and your life.
