New townhomes are coming soon to Southwood, a Charlottesville-area neighborhood off Old Lynchburg Road in Albemarle County. Located just south of the city, Southwood is minutes from I-64, 5th Street Station, UVA, and Downtown Charlottesville. The neighborhood includes pocket parks, trails, and community gathering spaces, with Biscuit Run Park along its southern and western edges.

Southwood builds on the connections already here while bringing new homes, shared spaces, and future commercial resources to the neighborhood. Sales are currently expected to open in fall of 2026, with the first homes ready for move-in by spring of 2027.
