Select Your Homesite
Once you’ve decided on a neighborhood and floor plan, it’s time to pick a homesite. Finding a lot you’ll love and that fits your needs is just as important as finding the right home design. Our team will help you navigate the available choices that will fit your chosen floor plan and visualize the results, so you can be confident in your decision.
Fine Tune Your Home's Layout
When it comes to your ideal home design, you can rest assured that the home you purchase will be meet your specific needs and preferences. At this point in the process, we’ll help guide you through the available structural options for your chosen floor plan. Decide how you want your home laid out by selecting options like basements, lofts, screened porches, morning rooms, and more.
Personalize with Design Options
We understand you want a home that fits your aesthetic and your lifestyle—something that speaks to you and makes your family feel at home, effortlessly. That’s why we offer a wide variety of design options to provide you with the flexibility to choose your finishes such as flooring, cabinets, countertops, and more to give you exactly what you're looking for—a home you’ll love for years to come. Our 3,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Design Gallery provides concierge-level service to help guide you through the options and provide trusted input from our expert designer, Angie Rice. From the latest offerings from Kohler Plumbing, Kichler Lighting, Frigidaire appliances, Timberlake cabinetry, Shaw flooring, and Dal-Tile, you can select every interior design finish. It’s all the joy of designing (and owning) a new home with none of the stress.
Watch Your Vision Come to Life
Construction typically takes 4-6 months and consists of a few scheduled meetings that occur during the process. This starts with a pre-construction meeting, in which you meet with your neighborhood Sales Manager, with whom you selected your floor plan/homesite and completed your purchase agreement, and your Construction Manager, who will be overseeing the construction of the home. Once we start construction, we meet again before the drywall goes in so you can see everything behind the walls (plumbing, HVAC, electrical). This is a great time to confirm your electrical and plumbing options have been installed per your contract and to have a private inspection, should you desire. Right before closing, your construction manager will walk you through your home, show you all the features, demonstrate how to operate any equipment, and review warranty information. Then, once your home is 100% complete, it’s time to close!
Close on Your New Home
At settlement, you’ll review and sign closing documents, pay any outstanding fees associated with the closing or towards your total down payment, and get your keys! Then it’s time to move in, lay down the welcome mat, and start making memories in your new home.
